Castle Ward - made up of Kingston Park, The Great Park, Brunswick, Dinnington & Hazlerigg - is currently represented by your local Liberal Democrats Focus Team Councillor Ali Avaei.
Ali and the Focus Team are always out and about speaking to residents across the ward.
Key issues for Ali are: getting the Council to fix our broken roads and pavements, maintaining our precious green spaces, adoption of the Great Park and other new housing estates in Hazlerigg and Dinnington.
Ali is also part of the 22 strong Liberal Democrats Official Opposition Group on Newcastle City Council, holding the current Labour administration to account and pressing for change to improve our area and the wider city.
