Time for Answers on The Grange Centre

It's time for action on The Grange

Lib Dem by-election candidate Stephen Kelly is calling on the Council to review whether the Grange can be reopened rather than being sold off.

"I can't count the number of residents who have told me how upset they are at the closure of the Grange.

"It provided vital support for the elderly and vulnerable in our community -- many relied on the Grange for their daily socialisation, warmth and only meal of the day.

"Now that the Lib Dems are running the council we have a real opportunity to put the vulnerable and their carers at the forefront -- let's fight to get an answer on reopening the Grange and restarting day services," said Stephen.

I, the undersigned, call upon Newcastle City Council to investigate all options for reopening the Grange Welfare Club and restarting day services for the elderly and
vulnerable.
