West Fenham Focus Team

Patrick (PJ) Morrissey, Mark Mitchell & Owen Burbidge

Your 2026 Candidates for West Fenham & Slatyford

Your FOCUS Team is pleased to announce that PJ Morrissey and Mark Mitchell, your current councillors, are standing for City Council on May 7th.  Owen Burbidge, who lives on Heatherslaw Road, is the third Lib Dem candidate.

We are clear on what residents want to see here in West Fenham and Slatyford:

• Better play equipment in our play areas.
• Potholes and pavements repaired so residents can get down the street safely.
• Proper enforcement to stop flytipping.
• More council housing so that we get people off the housing list, and they can get housing locally.

We have already secured better grass cutting in the ward, helped pensioners get their heating back on, reported fly-tipping and abandoned cars. We have highlighted issues from across the ward at city council meetings and to those in charge at the Civic Centre.

But the Council is simply not doing enough to clean up Fenham and Slatyford. We want a Council which is easier for you to contact, which listens to what you say and which delivers for all of Newcastle. We want a council that focuses on value for money, which gets Newcastle moving and delivers better services.

Your Lib Dem team will deliver the real change that you want. Please use your three votes to keep your Lib Dem Team fighting for you.
