Working hard for West Fenham all year round
Patrick (PJ) Morrissey was re-elected as the Liberal Democrats councillor for West Fenham Ward on Newcastle City Council in May 2023. Mark Mitchell was elected as a Lib Dem councillor on Thursday 2 May 2024. They both work hard throughout the year to address local problems and issues and to ensure that the voices of West Fenham's residents are heard in the Council Chamber.
PJ and Mark are well known for listening to local people and keeping in touch through regular Focus newsletters. In addition, the team now use this web page, eFocus and social media to keep local people informed about what is happening across the ward.
PJ and Mark are also part of the 23 strong Liberal Democrats Official Opposition Group on Newcastle City Council, holding the current Labour administration to account and pressing for change to improve our area and the wider city.
