TRAFFIC PROBLEMS INVESTIGATED

The East Gosforth Focus Team has asked the city council's traffic engineers to investigate traffic problems on Moor Road North and Moor Road South.
In particular they have been asked to look at ways of improving parking, especially around the Newcastle School for Boys junction.
Councillor Mike Cookson said: "At times this is a real nightmare and we are hopeful we can find a solution to improve the situation."
