Renewed Efforts on Kingsley, Eversley & Holmside Places Front Lanes

Ouseburn Lib Dem councillors have been heading up efforts to get the front lanes on these streets resurfaced. Due to arcane legal arrangements made back in Victorian times, it is proving very hard to track down who is responsible for maintaining these lanes. Gareth Kane and Stephen Psallidas held a public meeting for residents in June to discuss the issues and exchange information.

"The state of these front lanes has deteriorated badly in recent years due to utility work," said Gareth, "but as they are unadopted, the Council can't pay for their upkeep. We hope that when council officers go back through the legal documents we will find a solution".
