Recycling Engagement Team comes to Manor Park

Wednesday 6th September saw the first of two 'pop-up recycling centres' taking place in Manor Park ward.
The friendly Recycling Engagement Team were situated on Spalding Close in the Fairways estate from 6am to 1pm. Residents were invited to bring all manner of recyclables to the convenient skips, and were given help and advice on general waste.
Thsoe who visited were also offered a free handy recycling bag for their homes.
The event was a great success, both in providing a useful and convenient service for residents, and also in highlighting the need to recycle as much as possible.
The next 'pop-up' will be on Wednesday 13th September 6am - 1pm on Goswick Avenue. Come along!
