The new bridge at the Three Mile allotments is now in place and should help the flow of water underneath.
There will be a further drop-in event shortly for Brunton Park residents who are affected by flooding risk to explain the outcome of the work undertaken by Northumbrian Water on surface water drainage and the sewerage system.
Residents will be informed of the details directly.
