New Homes for the New Year

The development of family homes at the Leazes in Newburn Ward is continuing, with some houses already being occupied. A mix of both owner-occupied and social houses is being provided on the site. Many of the social homes have already been allocated to residents living in our area.

Councillor Mike Curthoys says: "I have visited some of the new occupants of the YHN social housing and they are impressed with the standard of the accommodation. It is great news that we have been able to increase the amount of housing in the ward as I know that there is a massive demand from local families for good quality homes in the social sector."
