LIB DEMS TO HOLD PARTY CONFERENCE ON TYNESIDE

The Liberal Democrats will hold their 2012 spring party conference on Tyneside.
The gathering at The Sage Gateshead is expected to attract around 1,500 high-profile politicians, decision makers and policy influencers.
It will also put the spotlight on NewcastleGateshead through its national media exposure.
Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg said: "I am really pleased that we will be visiting NewcastleGateshead for our spring conference in 2012.
"The world-class facilities of The Sage Gateshead, top-quality hotels and the famous friendliness of the local people are obvious attractions to coming to North East England."
