LABOUR AND LIB DEM COUNCIL TAX RISES COMPARED

During Labour's last seven budgets in Newcastle, inflation was 18% and Council Tax rose by 54%.
During the Liberal Democrats' first seven budgets in Newcastle, inflation has been 25% and Council Tax will have risen by 15%.
Newcastle used to have the 4th highest Council Tax in the country. It now has the 96th highest.
We're all happy to see Newcastle slide down that particular league table!
