Hillsview housing to go ahead a last

After several developers have pulled out in the past, at last the Council has been able to approve the Your Homes Newcastle development for the old Hillsview School site off Redland Avenue/Carsdale Road.
"There'll be around 150 homes, mostly family-size, with about half for rent" said Cllr David Faulkner. "The development will release funds that will be used for the next phase for North Kenton Park."
