Spain saw its unemployment rate fall by 12.4% to 4.78 million at the end of last year, the lowest level since mid-2011, according to the National Statistics Institute. The fall in unemployment was linked to a rebounding economy in combination with more temporary posts. Unemployment nevertheless remains over 20 percent.
