Coxlodge Centre plans latest

Plans are moving ahead for improvements to Coxlodge recreation centre. There's a steering committee, now meeting regularly, of management committee representatives, user groups, local residents and council staff and members.
Councillor David Faulkner is representing Fawdon Ward. The longterm plan will improve the existing building, make better use of the grounds, construct new changing rooms and improve the path to the bowling green.
The steering group has agreed to begin with widening the entrance and extending parking on site, to be followed by other phases as funding allows.
