COMPLAINTS OVER FORMER PUB BUILDING

Local residents have complained about unsightly metal plates which have been fixed to doors and windows at the former 'Northern Lights' pub in the High Street.
The building's current owner, Punch Taverns, has advised that this is to comply with an insurance policy.
However, the company has agreed to look at alternative arrangements. Further clarification of the timeframe for this is being sought.
