BACK LANE BIN ACTION

A pilot scheme is being launched in parts of East Gosforth to tackle the problem of wheelie bins being left permanently in back lanes.
The scheme will initially focus on the rear of Ilford Road and Newlands Road.
Letters of advice have already been sent out to residents asking them to bring their bins in. Ultimately bins could be removed.
