22 Feb 2010

A planning application has been submitted to the council to build a 42 bedroom nursing home on the site of the former Northumberland Records Office.

Under the plans the building would be demolished. Up to 50 residents attended a consultation event recently.

Councillor David Down said: "Residents' views on the application are needed particularly concerning parking and traffic."
