Working hard for South Jesmond all year round
Jude Browne, Peter Allen, Philip Browne, James Coles, Mike Cookson and Gareth Kane are the South Jesmond Focus Team. Jude is the Lib Dems candidate in the upcoming South Jesmond By Election. She is supported by Gareth, Mike, James Philip and Peter who are all councillors on Newcastle City Council. They work hard throughout the year to address local problems and issues and to ensure that the voices of South Jesmond's residents are heard in the Council Chamber.
The Focus Team operates by listening to local people and keeping in touch through regular Focus newsletters. In addition, the team now use this web page, eFocus and social media to keep local people informed about what is happening across the ward.
Peter, Philip, James, Mike and Gareth are also part of the 22 strong Liberal Democrats Official Opposition Group on Newcastle City Council, holding the current Labour administration to account and pressing for change to improve our area and the wider city.
