You can also speak to us in person at our surgeries at the Lemington Centre on Tyne View. These are held on the first Thursday of the month from 10.30 a.m to 12.00 noon, and the third Thursday of month from 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Surgeries are not held on public holidays.

A new scheme has started in Newcastle to help the elderly and disabled stay in their homes.

Nine of Newcastle's post offices are to shut - although Lemington's is safe from closure by the Labour Government.

Lemington Lib Dems have asked the council to clear up a speed limit anomaly on Union Hall Road when Hillhead Road becomes a 30mph zone.

Sun 10th Feb 2008:

Coun Lawrence Hunter has asked the council to install yellow lines at the corner of Valley View and Combe Drive to allow better vision for motorists.
